- Elen Steinberg, Founder of the Soviet Jewish Veterans Video Interviews and Memory Project, donated the interviews with Jewish Red Army veterans to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in January 2020. The interviewees, who are all Canadian residents, were interviewed in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary between 2010 and 2015.

Isaak Ashmian, born on December 19, 1919 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, discusses his family’s move to Moscow, Russia; life during WWII; his role as a volunteer Engineer Lieutenant in the military construction corps; being stationed in the Moscow area, where he built temporary structures, either to replace ones destroyed in the war or to accommodate new but short term needs; serving on the Belarusian Front; receiving the "Order of the Patriotic War" (1st and 2nd class) and the medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945"; and immigrating to Canada.

Document
The Chernomorsky-Liverant Family Story is a digital manuscript documenting the murder of Pearl (Polina) (1896-1941) and Leib (Lev) Chernomorsky (1889-1941) in Lubar, Ukraine in September 1941; Luz Liverant's death in the defense of Moscow in 1942; and Bronya's perilous escape towards Yangeuil, near Uzbekistan, with her daughters Maya (b. 1936) and Anna (Anya, b. 1939). Bronya and her daughters followed the army back towards Ukraine, where she helped bring to justice the collaborator who denounced her father. The digital manuscript includes a brief family tree and five digital images including two death certificates and three photographs.
