    Brief Narrative
    The commemorative medallion was retreived by PFC David F. Busch, an American soldier who was stationed in Europe during WWII. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Leipzig-Dresden railway, April 24, 1937.

    Circular terra cotta colored clay medallion with an image of a train one onse side surrounded by the words "Leipzig-Dresdener Eisenbahn 100 Jahre." The other side has an eagle and swastika surrounded by the words "24 April 1837" and "24 April 1937."
