Henry Kinstlinger (possibly spelled Kintslinger) describes the working conditions in Julius Madritsch's uniform factory; their food rations; the living conditions at Płaszów; his narrow escape from Amon Goeth on an “illegal” latrine visit; getting on the Brinnlitz list; the treatment of prisoners at Brinnlitz; suspicions of Oskar Schindler's character and motives; distrust and dislike of Schindler; and Schindler's instinct for self-preservation.
