    Physical Description
    Postage stamp made of paper, rectangular in shape with scalloped edges and approximately 1 1/16 inches (2.6 cm) tall by 7/8 in (2.2 cm) wide in size. The paper is pink in color. An inked rectangle with image and inscription is found on one side. The ink is blue in color and the inked rectangle is smaller in size than the paper itself leaving an ink free boarder around the edge. The word “Dienstmarke” is found along the bottom edge of the inked square At the center of image and within a circle is an the number “10” on top of a depiction of an eagle with wings spread and facing left. The remaining space inside the circle is decorated with horizontal stripes. Around the circle is a decorative geometric pattern. On top of the blue ink image is another black ink stamp which extends past the area of the postage stamp on the top and right edges. The visible portion of the black ink stamp consists of two concentric arcs crossed by a rectangular section which is angled from the top center edge to the right center edge. Within the rectangular section the numbers “15.1.23.6” are stamped. Stamped between the two arcs is “WOLDENBER”. Adhesive is found on the other side. The image from the other side is faintly seen in reverse on adhesive side.
