George and Katie Frankfurter papers

Contains documents illustrating the experiences of Kato Ritter and her husband, Gyorgy Frankfurter, who both survived concentration and slave labor camps. Includes a handwritten list of items requested by Kato and her family in the Budapest ghetto from an uncle in Budapest; a personal account written on scrap paper, in Hungarian, by Kato while interned in Auschwitz-Birkenau and Peterswaldau slave labor camp; various postwar identity cards for Gyorgy and Kato as well as documentation on their emigration from Germany in 1951 and post-war claims documentation against the German government.
