A Ukrainian woman born in 1922 discusses events in Novosilka, Ternopil's'ka Oblast, Ukraine; working in a beet field and seeing a column of Jews being marched to ditches in another field; climbing a small hill and watching, with other farm workers, the shooting of Jews; details on the shooting process, which involved four Jews at a time standing on planks laid across ditches; approaching a ditch after the departure of Germans and seeing arms and legs of not fully covered bodies; the movement of earth indicating some victims were still alive; and the presence of much torn paper money at the ditches.
