    A Belarusian woman, born in 1930, discusses her experiences in Volyntsi (Valyntsy, Vitebsk Oblast), Belarus before and during WWII; relations between Jews and non-Jews before the war; the German occupation of Volyntsi; the partisans and their positive impact on the village; the German administration; how some locals joined Polizei to maintain a connection with the partisans; the collaborationists who betrayed locals; Jews being forced to work for the Germans; the Jewish ghetto; many Jews joining the partisans; local Jews who were murdered; the process of the murders; and many Jewish woman being violently murdered in the village.
