    A Belarusian woman, born in 1924, discusses her experiences in Volchin (Brėstskaia Oblast), Belarus before and during WWII; the burning of the village in 1934-1935; the declaration of war; the bombings; the evacuation of Soviet border guards; the German occupation of Volchin; Germans bringing Jews from nearby villages; the ghetto in the village which was guarded; people rarely walking on the streets; and the murder of Jews.
