    An Ukrainian woman born in 1911 discusses the creation of kolkhozes in the 1930s and the famine that followed; her experiences in Balaichuk (Odessa Oblast), Ukraine during the war; the German occupation; the Jews being taken from the nearby villages and moved to stables in Balaichuk; the famine during the occupation; the murder of the Jews; and the exhumation of Jews.
