Antonina Chervenko-Krasnoshtein, born in the Ukraine, describes the roundup and deportation of Jews by German and Romanian soldiers; some local Jews hiding in their neighbors' basements; the sight of a murdered Jewish family in the street; and liberation by the Soviet Army in 1944.
