    Hedda Kleinfeld Schachter, born in 1924, discusses her memories of the Anschluss and Kristallnacht in Vienna, Austria; her father and uncle who were detained at Dachau; the letters her father sent from Dachau; going with her family to Cuba in early 1939; going to the United States in May 1940; and her family beginning a fur business in Brooklyn that grew into Kleinfeld Bridal, a well-known business in New York.
