    Allen J. Hall, born in 1935 in Kraków, Poland, discusses growing up in an upper middle class family; fleeing with his parents to Lvov (now L'viv, Ukraine) after the German attack on Poland in 1939; staying in Lvov until 1941; going to Czestochowa, Poland and later Warsaw, Poland; and his experiences hiding in order to survive the war.
