    Interview Summary
    A Belarusian woman, born in 1922, discusses her experiences in Zhirovichi and Slonim (Grodno Oblast), Belarus before and during WWII; the Jews in Zhirovichi (one Jewish girl was named Basya Nojnitska); the German occupation; the roundup of the Jews and their relocation to an area in the forest where they were murdered; the Jews living in the nearby town; the ghetto in Slonim and everyday life in this ghetto; attending courses to learn German during the occupation; her German language teacher who was Polish; and people living in former Jewish houses.
