    A Russian woman, born in 1930, discusses her experiences in Sinkovo (Smolensk Oblast), Russia before and during WWII; the German occupation; the Jewish refugees from other places who lived in the area and were never betrayed by the locals; the fights between the Germans and the partisans; the hidden prisoners of war; the Jewish ghetto; the mass murders in Smolensk; and the hanging of some Jews.
