    Interview Summary
    Ljubica Stojakovic Lakanović, born in 1934 in Slabinja near Kozarska Dubica in the former Yugoslavia, describes her escape to Kozara at the beginning of World War II as a result of her father joining the partisans; the capture of her family and removal to Prijedor camp; the murders of large groups of civilians; her transfer to Jasenovac, including hiding in skirts of her grandmother so as to not be separated; her release by Ustaše friend of her father; her return to village; her escape to the partisans until liberation.
