Vlado Bozic, born November 4, 1929 in Vransi village near Bijelina, Serbia, discusses the death of family members during WWII; the SS throwing grenades and shooting at a church; a tank firing towards him; his escape to Crniljevo and Gradac; hearing about his sister's sexual assault and later suicide; his return to his village to find the bodies of family members and cleaning the bodies for quick funerals; seeing the body of his priest in the river; hearing about a soldier recognizing and saving a woman’s life; and a perpetrator being found guilty and incarcerated for eight years after the war.
