Oral history interview with Jasiūnas Rimgaudas

Jasiūnas Rimgaudas, born January 30, 1931 in Kaunas, Lithuania, describes his family; the beginning of the war; the looting of Jewish-owned shops by local townspeople; the torture and murder of a group of Jews at the Lietukis garage during the Kaunas pogrom; the driving of a group of Jews to the Ninth Fort; a Jewish woman sending her daughter to stay at his house while she worked; and his feelings about Jews in light of the arrest of his father by a Jewish man in 1945.
