    Correspondence with banks and manufacture companies, including with the Jewish Colonial Bank in London, American Jewish Joint Distributions Committee, Salonika Palestine Bank, and others. Includes statistics of financial activities, loans, bank expenses, lists of prices of manufacture goods, contracts and power of attorney between bank and different clients.

    Biography
    The Salonika Palestine Corporation was the financial banking agent associated with the Salonika Palestine Bureau and served the purpose of supporting, financially and otherwise, the work of the Palestine Bureau. It assisted in selecting candidates for emigration and helped finance their move to Palestine, created employment for them and for temporary migrants (including Halutzim headed to Palestine for three years of temporary employment), and financed kibbutzim and Jewish industrial projects in Palestine. It also aided in the Purchase of lands for the establishment of agricultural and urban settlements in Palestine.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in 1993.
