    Interview Summary
    Grant Grimm, born January 29, 1921, discusses his experiences in the US military during WWII; being drafted into the army in October 1942; ending up in the Air Force by the time of liberation at the rank of Sergeant in the 430th Squadron, 474th Fighter Group, 9th Air Force Tactical Unit; arriving in Weimar, Germany in April 1943; going to the Buchenwald concentration camp after it was liberated; his experiences seeing the camp and the former inmates; seeing the crematory; the imprisoned former camp guards; sharing his experiences with his children and their lack of belief; feeling different after he returned to the US; getting divorced soon after the war; and his thoughts on the denials about concentration camps.
