Film footage in both color and black and white representing the pre- and post-war life of a prominent Jewish family from the Netherlands, including scenes of life before and after the Holocaust. The collection also includes a hand-tinted color home movie consisting of a play of sorts featuring two children reenacting the courtship and wedding of Dutch Jews Frits Kan and Jeanne Bloch. Dutch intertitles explain how the two meet, are separated for a time when Frits travels to Singapore, and reunite and marry. This is followed by footage of the actual wedding of the adult Frits and Jeanne in the Netherlands in 1925.

In 2002, siblings Robert F. Kan and Betsy Klein donated this and other films (see more below) that capture vacations, daily activities, and other moments in their Dutch Jewish family's prewar life. They and their parents, Frits Kan and Jeanne (Bloch) Kan, escaped the Nazis by immigrating to the United States in May 1940.
