    Arthur Heimberg, born March 24, 1920 in Boryslaw, Poland (Boryslav, Ukraine), describes life in Poland before the war; the beginning of the war; the Boryslaw ghetto; being transferred to Płaszów, Auschwitz, and then to the Mauthausen subcamp, Ebensee, during the war; traveling to Austria, Italy, and the United States post-war; and immigrating to Australia in 1947.

    Provenance
    The Australian Institute of Holocaust Studies conducted the interview with Arthur Heimberg on February 6, 1990 for the Twelfth Hour Project. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received a copy of the interview in April 2006 from the State Library of New South Wales where the collection is housed.
