    Ruth Hillman, born in 1923 in Katowice, Poland, discusses her early life and family; life in the Sosnowiec ghetto; education efforts in the ghetto; running away from the ghetto; returning to Sosnowiec to help her parents; being caught and sent to collection area, where people were being held before being sent to Auschwitz; and escaping deportation and returning to the ghetto.
