    Interview Summary
    Suzanne Leibowitz (née Langer), born on May 27, 1928 in Prague, Czechoslovakia, discusses pre-war Prague; attempts to move away from Nazi occupation; being deported to Theresienstadt in 1942; camp conditions, adaptation, and manipulation of the system; bartering family diamonds with guards and Czech police to get food and easier work; being given a special room with two other girls near police to more easily barter; visit from the Red Cross; liberation by jumping on a Soviet tank in May 1945; living in Teplitz Schoenau (Teplice) post war; immigrating to the United States in October 1948.
