    Interview Summary
    Bernice Nussbaum (née Transport), born on March 3, 1923 in Plock (Plotsk), Poland, discusses her religious family; attending public school; the brutality of Germans after the invasion; her and her two sisters deportation to forced labor camps; Dzialdowo in 1939, Czestochowa, and Skarzysko-Kamienna; working in ammunition factories; brutality of the guards; typhus; being transferred to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp; liberation by the Americans while at Allach (Dachau) concentration camp; marrying in Germany in 1948; and living in Feldafing displaced persons camp before immigrating to the United States in 1949.
