    Interview Summary
    Milton Pincus, an interpreter with the United States Army military government unit 1-13-G-3, discusses witnessing the liberation of Dachau concentration camp at the end of April 1945; seeing Dachau as the Nazis had left it; the condition of the survivors; retribution by survivors; the problem of what food to offer survivors; and leading a tour through Dachau for German civilians from nearby Munich, who were horrified and claimed ignorance of the camp's existence.
