    Interview Summary
    Fred Post, born on May 3, 1916 in Rawa Ruska, Poland, discusses being a prisoner of war in Stargard, Germany from 1939 to 1940; the German occupation of Poland; his internment in labor camps in Bialapodlaski, Poland from 1940 to 1941; crossing the Russian border to Lemberg (Lvov) January to May 1941; returning to Rawa Ruska May 1941 to December 1942; hiding in bunkers in and near Rawa Ruska from December 1942 to 1945; living in Fuerth (Finkenschlag) displaced persons camp December 1945 to 1949; living in a private residence in Fuerth from 1949 to 1950; and immigrating to the United States in September 1950.
