    Interview Summary
    Dina Remer, born in Sombor (Batchka), Yugoslavia, discusses the Hungarian and German occupation of Yugoslavia; deportations in March 1944; internment at Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, Block 23, Camp C; being transferred to another camp then to Bergen-Belsen in September 1944; liberation by the British in 1945; living in a displaced persons camp; the deaths of many family members; and immigrating to Israel in 1948.
