    Interview Summary
    Ruth Salzman (née Bodner), born on April 4, 1934 in Trinec, Czechoslovakia, discusses fleeing from her home in Czechoslovakia to Poland 1939 to 1940; her deportation to a Siberian labor camps in Novastroyka and then Buzuluk (Urals) in 1941; joining a Czech Army unit to move west to Czernowitz and Czechoslovakia; and immigrating to the United States in 1946.
