    Harry Snyder, an officer in the 45th Infantry of the United States Army, discusses serving in Africa and Europe from May 1943 to September 1945; witnessing the liberation of Dachau concentration camp and American soldiers killing German guards; the American Military Government postwar; and commanding two displaced persons camps, Kaiserslautern and Telefunken Kaserne, in Munich.
