    Charles Spitzberg, born on August 28, 1911 in B?dzin, Poland, discusses working as a bookkeeper and translator of English, French, and Polish for commercial correspondence; living in B?dzin ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz concentration camp on August 1, 1943; internment at Auschwitz until October 1944; his experiences in Stutthof, Echterdingen, Ohrdruf, Leitmeritz, and Theresienstadt camps; and immigrating to the United States in August 1949.
