    Sabina Cuker (née Fromel), born on November 19, 1920 in Zamosc, Poland, discusses living in ?ód? from 1933 to 1939; internment in ?ód? ghetto from May 1940 to 1944; witnessing atrocities; deportation to Auschwitz concentration camp with her sister; the train ride to, arrival, selection, and conditions at Auschwitz; deportation to Gross-Rosen from August 1944 to November 1944; her sister dying during the death march from Gross-Rosen; internment in Shlezerzey labor camp from November 1944 to January 1945; Guben in January 1945; Bergen-Belsen from February to April 1945; liberation by the British; staying at a displaced persons camp there from April 1945 to July 1949; receiving assistance from the American Joint Distribution Committee (the Joint); and immigrating to the United States on August 9, 1949.
