    Interview Summary
    Jack Greenspan, born on December 10, 1910 in Pruszków, Poland, discusses Hashomer Hatzair; living in hiding in Warsaw in 1940; escaping the Warsaw ghetto by fleeing to Prague and then to Bialystok in Soviet occupied Poland; his arrest; his deportation to a Siberian labor camp in Comiy (USSR) from 1940 to 1941; his release; traveling to Tashkent; working in the nearby village of Zilabuluk; fleeing to Russia from 1940 to 1945; living in Föhrenwald displaced persons camp; and immigrating to the United States in 1945.
