    Interview Summary
    Vera Hecht (née Salamon), born on June 2, 1930 in Valea Lui Mihai, Romania, discusses the Hungarian occupation; internment with her mother in Auschwitz concentration camp from 1944 to 1945; going to Teplitz-Schönau (Teplice-Šanov) and Oderan [PH]; staying with her mother until the end of the war; and immigrating to the United States in December 1964.
