    Irene "Ziszi" Schwartz (née Jakubovics), born on May 22, 1923 in Iršava, Czechoslovakia (present-day Irshava, Ukraine), discusses living in Iršava until 1944; internment in Munkacs for three weeks; internment in Auschwitz, Gelsenkirchen, and Essen (Krupp munitions factory); internment in Bergen-Belsen until 1945; living in Sweden postwar from 1945 to 1947; the survival of her sister; and immigrating to the United States on October 28, 1948.
