    Solomon Silverberg, born on March 20, 1912 in Lódz, Poland, discusses living in the Lódz ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz for two days in 1944; internment in Gleiwitz from September 1944 to January 1945; internment in Blechhammer; returning to Lódz postwar; leaving Lódz because of antisemitism; living in Stuttgart displaced persons camp; going to Canada in 1952; and immigrating to the United States in 1958.
