    Harry Weinberg, born on September 11, 1920 in Munkacs, Czechoslovakia, discusses his orthodox, well-to-do family; Mizrachi; being drafted into the army under the Hungarians from 1941 to 1944; working as a shoemaker as part of a special Jewish group for almost three years; joining other labor groups; fleeing with the Hungarians from the Soviets in October 1944; liberation by the Soviets; serving as a translator for Soviet counterintelligence; and immigrating to the United States.
