    David Weiss, born on October 10, 1921 in Lwów, Poland, discusses being drafted into the Soviet army in 1940 after his hometown was occupied; being stationed in Dnipropetrovsk from 1941 to 1943; living in a Siberian work camp in Novosibirsk District until 1945; returning to Lwów; living on Dror Kibbutz in Bytom until 1946; gong to Bratislava in 1947; living in Windsheim displaced persons camp in 1948; going to Marseilles; immigrating to Israel in 1948; and immigrating to the United States in 1951.
