Leopold Farber, born in 1928 in Stara Halič, Czechoslovakia (present day Slovakia), describes being the child of a Jewish father and Catholic mother; living in Boskovice; the conditions for the Jewish community under the German occupation; the roundup and deportation of local Jews, including many of his family members; and the looting of Jewish owned property by German soldiers.
